Penteli | Pool Villa Makeover

The superposition of an exterior insulation on the walls of the building offered us the unique opportunity to eliminate additions and different materials, focusing on the geometric clarification of the new form. At the interior, the new walling orientation linked the fragmented space all the way through to the pool garden and its ample light. Hidden linear light sources at the ceilings let artificial light to penetrate at the interior breaking the boundaries of space, following a successful lighting design study.

Most of the rest decorative items are part of the basic structure revealing all the architectural elements determine the general feeling. The new mechanical construction part (under floor heating, fun coil heating pump system etc.) follows the bioclimatic principles and uses alternative heating-cooling systems. All wooden parts, equipment and furniture were custom designed and manufactured especially for this project.

The outdoors & pool needed a lot of special care – A landscape designer helped the final result applying a lot of interesting nice Greek plants to obtain a natural feeling for healthy wellbeing moments.
